From large scale multi-year epidemiological studies involving tens of thousands of volunteers, to trials of new interventions for obesity and type 2 diabetes in hundreds of patients, to focused qualatitive research in small numbers of adolescents, research participants are at the core of the Unit’s work.
Without research participants our work to better understand the factors that influence the risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes, and to develop and evaluate new strategies to prevent them, would not be possible, and we are grateful for their contribution.
We are constantly looking for people to participate in our research and help us achieve these objectives.
