We recruited young people aged 13-18 to participate in the APAD-C study. Volunteers were invited to be interviewed online by a researcher at the University of Cambridge.
This involved having an informal conversation about physical activity behaviour lasting between 30-60 minutes. Volunteers were also invited to take photos of their physical activity (we call this Photovoice), however this part of the study was optional.
Sadly not everyone who volunteered was eligible to take part. However, as a thank you for volunteering they were entered into a prize draw and given the opportunity to win a £30 amazon voucher. All those who took part were reimbursed for their time in the form of a £15 amazon voucher.
